Experienced Yin Yoga teacher, trauma-sensitive trained & Mind-Body Coach Carol Neilson presents a two-hour taster of Yin Yoga essentials for beginners.
Yin Yoga postures are simple, passive, long-held & floor-based, supported by props to allow your body to soften into the yin shape. It allows for all body types to find their unique shapes
We look to soften the muscles in order to focus primarily on the connective tissues – the joints, ligaments, tendons and fascia.
You will be introduced to the fundamentals of Yin Yoga as a practice for the body and mind. This includes breathwork, Calm Body, Calm Mind practices & simple postures that will form the foundation of your practice.
